This card superseded the GM809 and GM829 controllers mentioned elsewhere. Gemini used the new (at the time) WD2793A disk control chip. This board would support up to 8 mixed 8in and 5.25in, 1 or 2 side, single, double or high density floppy disk drives. In addition it incorporated a SCSI interface for connection to “Winchester” hard disk drives.

This later version of the board (GM849A) added support for a tape streamer.
